The community members in our society demands action immediately

For the people and by the people as a community we are demanding the recent convictions of the Former Bexar County Constable Michelle Barrientes Vela be overturned immediately. We are demanding an investigation into the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office Joe Gonzales. Which lead to an innocent individual being wrongfully convicted. The trial was live stream on YouTube for the world to witness.
Former Constable Michelle Barrientes Vela became the obsession and target of a local news anchor in San Antonio Texas “trial by media” to form a public opinion. The continuous misleading stories were aired for days, months, and years affecting Vela’s right to a fair and impartial, unbiased jury. Based on the misleading stories by the news anchor the Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales decided to have his prosecutors begin an investigation. Other factors to consider the Brady and Michael Motrin Act were violated. On September 1, 2022 Former Bexar County Constable Michelle Barrientes Vela was wrongfully convicted on two felony counts of tampering with government documents.
In the Criminal Justice System the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups;
1. The Police- The start with a 911 call leading to police reports
2. The Bexar County District Attorney’s Office- they review police reports, determines if a crime occurred, if the elements of a crime can be brought against someone.

However, the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office abused their authority and became the Police who investigates crimes and the DA’s Office who prosecutes all in one stop. On September 1, 2022 the former Bexar County Constable Michelle Barrientes Vela was convicted on two felony counts of tampering with a government document during the trial it was revealed that:
1. Evidence was presented that showed the State’s Witness/Confidential Informant, the custodian of records for the office shredded documents she was reprimand for her actions by a Supervisor and secretly removed documents out of the Constable’s Office two days after the first subpoena was served.
2. The State’s Confidential Informant/Star Witness lied and was impeached during trial.
3. The State’s Confidential Informant/Star Witness wore a recorder device which she hide. The device revealed no criminal statements from the Former Constable Michelle Barrientes Vela but revealed proof of innocence for Constable Vela
4. Evidence the State’s Confidential Informant/Star Witness may have committed the crime of tampering with government documents.

During the trial the Bexar County District Attorney(s) witness, a Texas Ranger’s Testimony he failed to document and record all witnesses statements that would show innocence for Michelle Barrientes Vela.

The Texas Ranger’s reprimands were keep out of the trial therefore it would not hurt the States charges nor effect his testimony against the Former Constable Michelle Barrientes Vela.
The Texas Ranger the State’s Witness was held in contempt of court during the trial and was caught lying on the stand.
