Georgian Bay: STOP the Rock Crushing
STOP: the Rock Crushing operation on the adjacent lands to our residential homes by Oak Bay Development (OBD).
OBD is requesting an exemption to allow rock crushing on site for the next 2-3 years. There is a public meeting on Feb 14th/2023 for public feedback/concerns afterwhich The Township of Georgian Bay, will vote to allow or deny the application.
OBD’s submission/application does not appear to address residents’ key concerns regarding health risk, pollution, noise, nuisance and mental health and lacks an independent peer review of their position.
We are a large tax base that deserves protection from harmful silica dust, noise, water, environmental hazards and pollution, unwanted nuisance, and stresses to our mental health!
Say NO to this Application by signing this Petition that will demonstrate OPPOSITION to the Township of Georgian Bay.
There is a simple solution, move the Rock Crushing to a safe location, not our backyards!
