PR applicants: take action for final decision, stop putting your lives on hold!
People experiencing excessive delays while awaiting a final decision on their Permanent Resident (PR) application should come together and exert pressure on the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to make a final decision. By working collectively, we can ensure that our countless webforms and calls are no longer ignored. It's time to stop putting our lives on hold.
Why is this important?
Obtaining a final decision on a Permanent Resident application is important because it determines whether an individual will be able to live and work in a country permanently. Until a final decision is made, the applicant's future plans, such as finding a job or enrolling in school, may be put on hold. This can cause significant stress and uncertainty. Additionally, having a delay in a decision can cause the applicant's to be unable to move forward with their life plans, which can be detrimental to the individual's mental and emotional well-being.
