Demand Parliamentary investigation into Higgins’ rape

We, Australians call on the Honorable Tony Burke to conduct a thorough and transparent investigation into Brittany Higgins' rape allegations, as most Aussies find it abhorrent that a staffer might have been raped in the Defence Ministers office.
There needs to be a FULL INVESTIGATION WITH ALL PARTIES INVOLVED:
- Minister Mathias Cormann
- Senator Michaelia Cash
- Ex Minister Linda Reynolds
- Ex Prime Minister Scott Morrison (must front the enquiry to explain their actions, both on that night and the days and weeks that followed)
- Ex minister Reynolds (also needs to explain why her partner attended the trial everyday, even when Reynolds wasn't attending and it also needs to look into her contacting defence lawyers for info.)
The investigation should also interview all security that was working in Parliament that fateful night, and obtain all CCTV footage from the moment Brittany entered Parliament, including footage from inside the defence ministers office.
The investigation should also look into the circumstances surrounding the aborted first trial: Who or what was the source of that inadmissible evidence that the juror bought in, and was the evidence found on the juror that instigated a retrial have any ties to the lnp, his whole history needs to be investigated.
Mr Burke I’m sure that you can see that this is a stain on our democracy that needs investigating.
There have already been dire mental and emotional stress caused to the alleged victim through the court process and trial by the media. We’ve seen your government act on serious women's issues before, and there is no more serious crime that can be perpetrated against any women than that of rape.
The smell from this will forever linger over the Parliament Mr Burke, until this matter is thoroughly investigated and shown to have been dealt with with integrity, honesty and transparency. The women/men of Australia demand nothing less.
Why is this important?
This petition isn’t just about Brittany. It’s about all Australian women and the fundamental right to be safe in any workplace, at all times.
When it happens in our own Parliament, then every detail must be micro examined to get the full story.
Please sign and share this petition widely, to demand justice and transparency!
How it will be delivered
THE PETITION WILL BE DELIVER TO THE LEADER OF THE HOUSE - THE HON TONY BURKE ON RESUMPTION OF PARLIAMENT
